Horseradish Cream

Horseradish Cream

This is one of the more versatile and delicious condiments you can make and serve especially when making a rib roast or some other cut of meat that could use a little kick from horseradish. Excellent for that Sunday dinner or holiday. We typically serve a good Prime Rib on Christmas and some times on Easter.

Remember Arby’s “horsey” sauce? Yeah, this isn’t that.

Horseradish Cream

1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup horseradish
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp sea salt
Black pepper

Whisk all ingredients together, cover and place in fridge for at least 1 hour and then set out 30 minutes before serving.

Note: I typically get my raw horseradish from TJ because it doesn’t have any additives. I say 3/4 cup but you can dial it up or down to your particular taste.
